Have Leaky Sensor Case and got new O-ring. Just wondering does graphic from Service Manual show application of sealant
as highlighted green? or as highlighted red and as in picture found online?

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

The green. A new correct o ring will seal perfectly without any sealant in the way. Sealant is for when you are trying to get a flattened baked old o ring to seal.
