Alternator belt tightening

Is this the bolt you unscrew a little bit to adjust the belt tension, the picture is taken upside down any help :)

One of them yes. You will need to slack off the other mounting bolt too to allow it to rotate.

If you look closely you can see on the opposite side of the alt that there's a solid mounting point to the block, a pivot about which the adjustment you pictured rotates. Just needs to be a bit slack so the whole alt can move.
