hi have a problem with the dust cover it was torn with the alternator belt am i the only one or is it a normal problem and how to solv it

Was the belt seated correct on the pulley, there shouldn't be interference like that .

only thing visible is that there is a malformation on the plastic. i only noticed it when i went to change the fan belt

hi need to know the size of the fan belt to see if mine was good so it does not happen again

Its a 4 rib belt - 14mm (approx) wide
