Hi, I've been reacquainting myself with Jimny specs and after having a good check around I seem to be a bit confused. Here is my findings. Please confirm them.

G13bb 1998 to 1999. 1st gear 3.652: T-Case 1.32 H; 2.145 L: Dif 3.416. (or Is it a 3.909 Dif)
M13a 2000 to 2005 1st gear 3.652: T-Case 1.32 H; 2.145 L: Dif 3.909 (or Is it a 2.643 T-Case L)
M13a VVTi 2005 to Present 1st gear 4.425: T-Case 1.000; H, 2.002 L: Dif 4.3

Over all Transmission Reduction then came out for Low Range 1st Gear as follows

G13bb 1998 to 1999. = 26.8
M13a 2000 to 2005 = 30.6
M13a VVTi 2005 to Present = 38.1

If these numbers are correct the low range performance must be noticeably different between each edition.

Cheers

Our previous one was a 54 and compared with the current one i do seem to think that the newer one does crawl better but that is a comparison from 6 odd years ago and I could be confused.

Temeraire (2018 quasar grey automatic)
One of the last 200ish of the gen3s, probably.

I put a G13BB automatic transfer case in my M13A manual Jimny and there was no noticeable change in the low range ratio.

Yes a very late reply but life seems to have gotten in the way of what's really important!

Yes, no change in your M13A (Mark II) would be expected with your swap as the T-Case ratios are identical.

Thanks yakuza.

So the 2.643 T-Case was the 2005-2011 Auto.

I also found the 3.416 Diffs were from Diesel Jimnys.

Cheers
