The wife came home in the jimny tonight and it has lost power and is almost stalling..I've checked water and oil every thing seems normal. No lights on in the dash . No Emil lights either.. So any ideas would be very helpful. As we want to try and keep the car in the family..

Thanks wombat
I will check these tomorrow. Hopefully get the old girl going again. She's at 146,000 now. So maybe these bits need changing..

If i remember correctly there are 2 coil packs, each supplying 2 cyliders, which would tie in with your problem :)

Just noticed I have BKR6E 11 plugs fitted..are they the ones..as this could cause problems. But it's been ok and I think they have been fitted for about a year..

I probably would have checked the existing ones prior to spending cash...you only have(looking at the coil pack) +12V -12V +5V

Thanks Keith's.
Started the car this morning and it's ok until it's hot. Then goes on to two cyls. I have removed the coil packs and can't see anything evident . But as they have done 146,000 I think it's more than likely the cause.

Check the crank sensor...pour cold water on it while it's misfiring
