Hey Jonathan,

problem is that I have all possible manuals but nothing about transfer case, latest one. The alignment of that electrical stepper motor is problem! After they open it, now when you try to put 2WD, transfer case goes to neutral. 4WD and 4WD-L are working. Somehow ECU/Electronic is putting it in the neutral while actually you push 2WD button! He select neutral on transfer case so no power transfer to rear wheels due to long movement of the stepper motor that moves that 2 forks forward and backwards. Need only those few pages if possible. Thanks!!

P.S. They should NEVER open that stepper motor box! I think that now there is procedure how to assemble back that stepper motor box to let know ECU/TCU/electronic sensors where is actually position of the fork for 2WD

I was looking at the manuals list and I see that the latest one (99501-81A20-01E) is from 2005.
i'm looking for some information about VVT engine (Valve Cover Gasket) and I don't see anything about it there.

Does it mean that It hasn't been changed from the non-VVT to VVT version? or is there a later manual?

Thanks for any info

The manuals are incremental, ie. more recent manuals ONLY have the changes in them from the previous version

Just to make sure - So if I don't find information about installation of some part - I should work according to the previous manual?

Correct,

So here is the contents page from the latest manual in the list and the chapters that are "greyed out" are in a previous manual.

I tried purchasing a manual from the dealer here in the PI. They won't sell it. Sort of puts a person in a position of having to make a decision.

I have seen a download link in the past. If someone is curious to know how to find it, PM me and I can direct you.

That is assuming it doesn't violate any forum rules.

I started out with nothing & still have most of it left

Hello, I've been trying to solve a problem for a few weeks, but I can not see the complete electrical diagram of the 4WD control system of a particular model, it's Jimny 2007 with buttons on the drive, the 4WD computer has 2 connectors, I've only found The Jimny manuals with lever and the other with 4WD control but the modern system, which uses a control with a single connector, (not two) the system is totally different.

Unless you make friends with a person in the Parts or Service Department; you will have a difficult time purchasing a Factory Service Manual. The Dealerships in the Philippines do not maintain much in stock that does not have a fast turnover.
I recently purchased a set of Service Manuals (all listed by Martin) on PDF to assist me in troubleshooting once I purchase a Jimney in the near future. Figure its money well spent.
