alternator belt part 2 was created by grumpy22
does anyone know the part number for the Jimny Alternator belt?

Suzuki want £48 plus VAT (robbers)

Got one from local factors for £11 but it's the power steering belt (4PK 813)

the one that snapped is 4PK 835 and best I can find listed is 4PK 850.

The Blueprint parts list gives:

Alternator Belt: ADD69605
Steering pump belt: ADN19613

However when you websearch on ADD69605 it comes up as a Air Conditioning Belt, but its only £14

I'm getting really fed up with this now.

thanks for the reply above, I managed to get a 4PK833 and it's still miles too short. by miles I mean I've got the alternator off its adjuster, hard up against the engine block and the belt still won't go over the drive ring.

Jeez, five days to change an alternator belt, I can do an engine swap in an MG in a day!

6 days and a total of 6 belts and I've got on to fit. Tried the above codes, and ones from gates and dayco. what a waste of time and effort.

finally went to halfords. tried a few different ones and can finally report that the one that fits is...
