The first thing I thought of when I read the title of this thread

I own a VW camper and waving at and by other camper Van's is very popular. Landrovers and Classic Mini owners are also wavers in my experience. As inside a motorcycle, a little nod is always given to others. I think it's a nice thing in these times of bad news and troubles. When...... and as it appears to be a very moveable date.... I get my Jimny I will definitely wave at other Jimny drivers...... if I ever see one!!!

Apart from the modern Chinese variants, the MG marque has always waved or flashed lights. Bikers used to do it but I think it might not be so prevalaent among bikers nowadays

A word of warning though (I know I've mentioned this before here in another thread) but if you flash your lights it can be misinterpreted by other motorists, particiularly in built up areas; I flashed lights and waved at an MG coming towards me who did likewise. Almost instantly a car pulled out on me from a side turn, thinking I was letting him out!
