Painted grille and wheels was created by zorglub123
Here's my brand new Jimny with the old school Suzuki grille. As the grille is painted a silver color different than the silver for the wheels, I had both repainted glossy black (identical to the roof). Let me know what you think. Thanks :)

Welcome to the forum. That looks good, more simple and less fussy.

Indeed, both pictures are after the repaint. Here is what it looked like before. To be honest I’m not sure if it was money well spent...

The black is definitely an improvement. Money well spent. They are small cars and don't carry off all the colours and different shades that Suzuki finish them off in . My gen3 is the same, black with 3 different shades of silver on the roof rails, bumpers and wheels respectively and it looks a mess. The simpler the colour palette is the better the car looks as you can see the actual shape rather than having your eye distracted by jarring colour contrasts.

Funny stuff that!

OK, I see two new photos, outdoors with snow, but I still can't see the difference. I am usually good with "spot the difference", so I did see the steering wheel is now on the left. Please label them 'before' and 'after' for us lo-vision.

Andy, on your Grill I can see the difference, on one the bars are up/down, the other is left/right. :woohoo:

Hi George,

One grille is a graphite/silver, the other is jet black mate. Has had a nice spray job on it.
