new shocks and springs or spacers and extend the shocks

Welcome to the forum. The best way is with a good quality kit like the trailmaster one that Martin sells in the shop. The cheapest is spacers and relocation mounts. It's a matter of what you are wanting to achieve with the lift, if it's still a road car that is different to a trailered quarry basher.
