The long range tank ParanoidIndustries has in the pipeline is of interest to me. I'd be interested to know how/where it fits once more details become available.

Thanks to you lovely folks I've now ordered some of those kayak D rings, which I don't particularly need for now other than plans to bungie shopping bags to to stop them sliding around so much. Being a tight individual I've ordered them direct from Hong Kong via ebay for just under £4.40 and ordered a set of nylon washers in case they're needed. £8 much easier to stomach than £138.

While still very much a 'work in progress', this taster from ARB is the sort of thing we need to see now from Paranoid to keep our interest peaked.

Personally, when ARB mentions "new dampers" I get so excited I have to sit down for a bit!

To be fair to ParanoidIndustries (whom I've never used or come across until becoming a recent Jimny owner) new parts can take a while to prototype, evaluate, tweak and get to market. I'd sooner they spent the time to produce some good products rather than rush out something sub-standard. One can only hope they're focussed on these new products rather than feeding us updates with little content. There were a number of products they listed in the pipeline too, so I can only wish them a speedy but thorough development.

We had to get used to waiting for the gen4, some still are(!), I'm sure parts will come along soon enough :)

I messaged Paranoid last week asking for a update on the bits for the new Jimny. They told me that the roof rack is still in testing, but the load shelf, tie down kit and load guard will be released in the next couple of weeks. No mention of any of the other bits.

I'm looking forward to see what they come out with. Their Land Rover stuff looks great.

It can’t help to hear that there may be as few as 1200 Jimny owners in the UK this year, of which, only a small proportion will want to (be able to afford to) buy their products. There must be a break even number of units they have to sell to recover development costs.

True, but if the products are good then they will sell them internationally I am sure. Most of the accessories so far are coming out of Japan. A lot easier to buy and get stuff shipped to European owners. They also seem to have good interest from Australia.

I agree though, I do wonder if the prices could be very high.

Hmm their Land Rover stuff which seems to be missing any 3rd party reviews? I could be completely wrong (and if I am, I'll apologise profusely), but Paranoid have the whiff of a vapourware scam about them at present, exercise caution.
