My green laner build
2003 Jimny - M16 engine - 4.16 TC - Winch - Snorkel - 30x9.5 Maxxis MT-764 tyres on 15x7 ET-7 offset wheels - 4" lift - Rear floating axles and discs
Got my lobster box and cradle from Richard. Think I ordered it Jan/Feb time and arranged to collect it in May when I was passing his workshop. Box seems to run fine, done a fair bit of mileage on it now. And the cradle is well built.

Yes he is very good. Knows his stuff inside out and seems honest Labour rates are pretty good as well. i.e. i got my box fully rebuilt and new shifter sheet & bearings for less than £250 earlier this year.

This is what I have read, good quality work. The reason I started this post is because I ordered my box in april, full payment (722£) upfront. With a delivery after 4-6 weeks.
He told me he had some problems and the was a delay. In august he promised me the box, and then september. I got to the point I wanted a refund but then he said he had shipped it(about a month ago). I thought well ok. I still got no box, and he does not respond to my emails anymore.
I didnt want to take it here on the forum, but think twice before paying upfront with him, even if he has one of the best reputations on the Jimny market

When you get your money back, you can order a set of gear wheels from low range or trail tough, and I can build one for you. The cradle we might find in Norway. I can ask atound.

They don't do cradles or fitting kits for the jimny.
I supply low range with some parts actually and they have no market for jimny parts.

The only place i know in Europe that does the cradle apart from me is zanfi.it
Go look at the price ! I think the cradle and speedo adapter comes to the same price as my whole package.
Thats one of the reasons im so busy and my lead times are long.
