Rear Disc Conversion

Who has a rear disc conversion and if YES, what Calipers have you got fitted??

* Maverick has Rear Disc Conversion using Renault Clio Calipers.

This is nothing sinister, it’s just that I am considering getting a supplier to fabricate the component on a Rear Floating Axle to cater for differing calipers. He already makes the shafts, but to complete a rear floating axle conversion you require a specific conversion plate to suit your Rear Disc Calliper make.

Jalapeño, IISY?

    Really ... only 3 Jimny's with a rear disk conversion ....

No wonder no Jimny Fabricator is willing to make a generic kit for Jimny Rear Floating Axles...

Right then, if no-one else replies, I am on my way to speak to the "man" to make ME a floating axle kit just for ME.

Sorry, Only just spotted this. I think the brackets on mine were from Robb Storr(already on it when i got it)To use vitara front calipers. I changed to jimny fronts all round to make it easier for keeping spares on the shelf , and the same pads all round.
I'd be interested in a rear floating kit if it was for abs equipped jimnys.

It's been fettled just a tad.

I have one! And I'm the same as everyone else with Renault

Speaking of brakes, and idea if Brembo make calipers that'll fit a Jimny?
