Offset or standard rims

My 2006 jimny is slowly being modified. At the moment she has a 2" lift with kumho kl71 195/70/15. On standard 5 spoke steel rims. I want a wider stance on the car. So do I go 215/75/15 on standard rims or 215/75/15 on offset rims?

I'm running 215/75 15 on an ET0 wheel, I.e. no offset, brings them nicely inline with the arches but not beyond, so no worries with too much mud up the side. It has a 2" lift and no rubbing so far.

Hope this helps you decide :)

First one is on standard rims and 215/75's, others are on -20 modulars and same tires. 2.5" lift

Out of curiosity do some stock jimny wheels have different sizes/offsets to others. I have heard 2 conflicting sizes for stock Jimnies

15x6 et5 and 15x5.5 et0

No idea which one is correct.

That looks really superb but you might have a point as the tread is just a tad out of the arch cover line but I doubt it would be noticed. Pity!
Love the red.

My answer is always to go with offsets.

Great feed back so far but as mine is a 2006 jimny with the second generation bumper. Still not sure, i know the front bumper will need trimming. Anyone with off-set rims on a 2006 onwards?
