I would suggest that tyres are probably the most important modification anyone does to their vehicle, they are certainly going to have one of the most pronounced alterations to the dynamics of the car no matter what the car is or how it is used, appropriate tyres can make or break a car.
Temeraire (2018 quasar grey automatic)
One of the last 200ish of the gen3s, probably.

Not sure I'd call tyres a mod

I know what tyres do.
It's just, wouldn't exactly call tyres a modification as they're pretty mandatory

In terms of the suzuki specified tyre being the much compromised Bridgestone dueler being still readily available to replace worn examples, I, having chosen to improve my tyres ability by fitting the bfgs even in 205,70 15 it's still a modification away from the original specifications, no different to fitting any pattern part , it's all still doing the same basic job but it's not as it left the factory. Or im just being an ocd pedant again.

Thanks for the replies guys, so far we have:
Tyres - 8 votes (+1 mention)
Lift - 3 votes
Manual Hubs- 2 votes
Lockers - 2 votes
Transfer box mods - 2 votes
Underbody protection - 2 votes
Then a variety of mods with 1 vote. Nothing hugely surprising so far!
Fozzie: what's wrong with your steering damper exactly? I just ordered one
Daniel30: I've never considered a bonnet guard, why did you choose that?

Has to be tyres first, to gain that extra traction in the mud..
2" body lift (so the tyres clear)
Rock sliders to protect the sides and underside when squeezing through the trees, etc.. But a winch would be 3rd equal as cant beat feeling secure in the knowledge that you can haul your own ass out of stuck situations !

I'd say it depends very much on what the intended use is.
For green laning and occasional offroading I'd say the biggest MT tyres you can fit on a standard suspension and then either a lockright or air locker. It's offers far superior traction in mud to bigger tyres.

1 bucket seats.....to stop me falling onto passenger seat or squashing me on drivers door
2 running slightly over castor angle...drives really nice steering self centres faultlessly
3 steering wheel cover...wheel feels nice and thick also very padded
trial gear transfer gears would probably be up their but not finished the install yet
Jack
