I am afraid that Jimny doesn't have relays for front lights. Apart the fog light. The problem must be somewhere else. Check for loose connections.

I think Greywolf was referring to the fog lights orginally (some people call them driving lights, even tho they are actually fogs).

The relay will be in the area of the drivers knee i think, under and up inside the dash, otherwise there is a few relays near the battery as well possibly?

As Riccy said, in the fuse box near the battery.

I started out with nothing & still have most of it left

Yes. The relay for the fogs should be in the supplementary fuse box that is located by the battery. Along with several fuses there are (I think) 3 relays. One is for the fogs.

I think it sits alone on the firewall next to the battery.

I have downloaded the FSM for several years of the Jimny. I am work right now, but once I get home I will check the electrical schematics for the driving light circuit.

Looking at the manual, the relay has moved around depending on the versions. Supplementary fuse box, Firewall and also under the dash high up by the passengers left knee on a LEFT HAND DRIVE car - so might be in the opposite place on a right hand drive one (passengers right knee)
