Got this want to get a V6 put in BUT seems most swap to yota axles which just have a lsd in rear, in my jimmy axles i've got art lockers in both, so kinda thinking what I'd gain in power and torque from the V6 I'd sort of loose in not being able to lock all 4 wheels.

So I was wondering....is it just a stupid idea to get the v6 and keep the jimmy axles?

The reason for swapping to yota axles is for the ultimate yield strength of the axle shafts themselves. The stock yotas are stronger than 4130 heavy duty suzuki stuff. If you want to run anything bigger than 31"s you're better off putting the money into yota axles.
