I'm 6ft 1 and find it a bit cramped, but there is no further adjustment unless you physically unbolt and bodge it back in

I have made some fine extension-brackets for the drivers seat in my 2005 Jimny. I'm 2 meters tall and really needed some space for the legs. When brackets are mounted, in the original holes, the tracks under the seat, are moved 70mm's to the rear = That's enhancing the comfort for me as a driver sooooo much - it's really like a limousine !!
They are made of solid steel, on a plasmacutting machine and painted black. Both the front brackets are supplied with a screw in the extra pin-hole (like the original brackets), for extra security.
All 4 of them are easily mounted in max 30 minuts.
I have sold some complete sets to UK residents already.

Note: the brackets on the photo are the prototypes, made by hand :)

Is that just flat bar at the front??, so the seat weight is just hoovering.looks abit weak.
Would be better if there was some kinda metal box underneath.

# jimny5 : I know it's solid, even my own weight (125kgs!) are not affecting the stability of the construction. They are made of 6-8mm solid steel, and will be electrogalvanized instead of painted.

# iloveics : You are definately right about the missing mud on carpets ;) So far, my Jimny only eats tarmac, but hope to try the "real stuff" soon.
