Wandrinstar, are they working yet?
It's not the bulbs is it??
I took our 4x4 club trailer home last month with no lights - was OK the last time I towed it. Anyway had a lookie on Saturday, checked another trailer board in the socket on the back of the Jim cos I also had the Melted number plate problem that day and thought I might have melted the loom. No socket OK. next tried the plug, as I know it's got spade connectors in it - No that's OK too.
Then I got the tester out and opened up the tail lights - 12v for side lights OK - Ahh that bulb's fused - so's that one - and that one! All fused. Then I remembered one of the club Comittee members has a new tow truck - 24v electrics!

On the 8th Day God made the LandRover -
On the 9th day he swapped it for a Jimny.

.

I found this unused el. connector. It is located just behind the front left head lamp in my Jimny 3.
My Jimny 3 is type 9, built in 2012, with 3rd. rev. front bumper. It does not have factory fitted front fog lamps.

Is this a connector for the front fog lamps?
