Yeah but it's only a little on from the 80s that my dad got. I would like a proper old one but have yet to find one I like condition wise.

What tools do you chaps carry in your jim? Or other bits n bobs? and dont say babywipes ;-)

A space-saving water-carrier that many survival kits and the Aus. Army uses is the trusted latex Condom! :)

They are general purpose cutters, whereas yours are proper wire cutters for barbed wire.

I have quite a few tools older than me, that I inherited from my late father, and he got them second hand. I'm still using a Blackhawk 1/2" drive 15" cracker bar from 1941.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)
