I got all excited when I saw you'd updated this and then had an anti-climax when it wasn't finished! :whistle:

cheers mate couple more pics from today didn't get much done though for the time it toke tomorrow ill get some more done and hopefully get the mould off it the weekend

got the plug durabond premiered (all 12 coats) now needs the long process of wet flatting filling any lows then more primer then down through the grades from 240 to 2000 grit then a polish then the mould can be take of this
I think at this stage give a good idea of what its going to look like
I wish I didn't have to be so precise about things would take half the time

first mould will just be the exact opposite of this think you mite mean first finished product. shame that that all the work gone in to this and this bits only going to be used once then possibly get thrown away, i mite extend it to make the full hard top

I no it's a shame you should have a go at the full hard top if the fast back works out!! Wich I think it will!

:ohmy: thats less that a quarter of the hardback conversion!

Think of the time and skill let alone the craftmanship thats going into building this buddy.

Could you build one for £200?
