I think it looks cool with no window. B)

Don't know what the view out of the back is like when it's a soft top and how it would feel with no rear view though.

It reminds me of a Mk 111 Escort tailgate.

Perhaps there is scope for people to fit unusual shaped windows like oval etc. ;)

Do it right - use Hammerite
When the blue light is flashing I am kidding.

I cant see out off my soft top window to scratched and even when it wasn't it was useless when a little mud or rain got on it its easy for people to fit if wanted just buy the persex and rubber seal and cut the hole out to right size with jigsaw, in doing this ill be cutting down the make time and cost, the brackets still need to be made and hopfully a friend will be doing these for me on his cnc punch going to see him in the next few days to get a price

Don't know if it's of any interest to you but I've used this company, link below, on several occasions for windows.
Fitted to a Carry van, Kangoo van and also a 'universal' one for a similar thing to your hard top.

If I had a soft top Jimny, I'd be buying one of your fastbacks.

cheers for the info theres a couple companys around near me that do this sort of thing I can get the window components easerly just to cut down time and cost and that some people want them some don't, im goin gto make all reinforced In the middle to take a window but leave blank

also fitting them this way for now they still pivot on the front clips enough for the rear down to open

reason for the change is cost and time but also have a change of doing some thing business wise that ive been wanting to do for a wile and cant pass up on but will be getting rained of from so this will be the side line

also been talking to some one about a flexi agent for fibreglass and going to be doing some test and there mite be some full on perfectly fitting arches on the way

no will do quite soon was going to be around £400 but that will drop quite a bit as now no hinges handle gas rams or window will be cut out as not needed
