Jimny Wanted

Hi,

I’m looking for a Jimny for myself but have no idea where to start! I’m hoping to not have to travel too far to collect as I’ve had trouble picking up a car before and finding that it was sold as a lie! Would really appreciate the help, I live in Stafford and don’t want to spend much more than £1,000.

When I was looking for my Jimny, I was mainly looking on EBay and also Gumtree. There was plenty around for that money, although I would be cautious in that price bracket as many I looked at were pretty rough and ready and some were quite rusty. That said I only paid £1600 for my Jim and its in reasonable condition, with a few small bits of rust but generally good.

Also I tended to look at the MOT history on the DVLA website to give an indication of how well it's been maintained and it also shows repeated issues that may not have been fixed properly.

Just remember not to rush in as there is generally loads of Jims for sale out there.
