My Jimmy has been pronounced dead.

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and am a relatively new Jimny owner. 

I bought the car from an indipendant dealer and to my untrained eye all seemed well. 

However 4 months later at MOT my car has failed due to some welding work that needs doing and the front axle. 

The garage doesn't want to take on the work because they can't guarantee price, or that by the time they've finished if it will pass still. 

I love this car but I am no mechanic, so any advice on what my best course of action is or if I can resurrect this beauty would be great! 

I'll attach a video with the mechanic explaining things and a photo of my car.
